یکی از راه های کنترل دور موتور استفاده از روش مدولاسیون عرض پالس یا PWM است. PWM یک موج مربعی است که در آن زمان High (روشن) و زمان Low (خاموش) بودن قابل کنترل است. به نسبت زمان High بودن سیگنال به کل دوره تناوب، ضریب وظیفه یا Duty cycle گفته می شود. ضریب وظیفه معمولا به صورت درصد بیان می شود. برای مثال، اگر سیگنال PWM با ضریب وظیفه 50 درصد که بین صفر و 5 ولت تغییر می کند به موتور اعمال شود، مثل این است که ولتاژ 2.5 ولت به موتور اعمال شده است. بنابراین، تغییر ضریب وظیفه سیگنال PWM، تغییر توان اعمالی به موتور و در نتیجه تغییر دور موتور را به دنبال دارد.

Parameter replacement mode:
4.1> .Short press of potentiometer: select parameters. Switch select status ON/OFF, lower limit value of the working cycle, upper limit value and output frequency. Status ON/OFF is the default output status when switched on. Displays the lower limit value in “L” and 2-bit number. Displays the upper limit value in “H” and 2-bit number or “100”. Display the output frequency in “F” and 2-bit number. Long press of potentiometer: save parameters and exit setting mode to normal display mode. Turn the potentiometer clockwise: increase the setting value. Turn the potentiometer counterclockwise: decrease the setting value.

Use steps:
1> Connect the correct working voltage (note: do not connect the load before setting the parameters).
2> Short press the potentiometer to turn off the output.
3> Long press the potentiometer to enter parameter replacement mode.
Short press the potentiometer to select the set parameters.
5> Turn the potentiometer to adjust the parameter value.
6> Set two further parameters as step3 and step4.
7> Long press the potentiometer to save the parameters and exit the setting mode in normal display mode
